Forgotten, oil on linen, 6 x 12in, Sold
One of my favorite subjects to paint, old weathered abandoned buildings. There is something very mysterious about them, and I find my self imagining its story. What went on in there, the people who built it and often what made them decide to build it in such an odd location. I found this one hidden from view about five miles outside of Reykjavík. I often go looking for subjects that inspire me and I was very happy to find this one. This landscape painting in oil measures 6 x 12in and is painted on oil primed linen.
