This is my camera, it is called Diana and is made by Canon. It takes beautiful vintage looking photographs, and the device it self is really lo-fi. The shutter is controlled by hand on the front of the lens. I painted this same subject about six months ago, and decided it was time to give it another go, but this time I left the lens cap of.
I like doing small oil sketches like this one. There is no pressure to make a good painting, and I feel more free to experiment with colors and edges and textures.
